History of Petra Manufacturing
Third generation owned and operated, Petra’s success has been built on nearly over 70 years manufacturing experience. Founded in Chicago in 1933 by Sara Hoffberg, the company took yet another step in its journey of progression when it purchased Screenprint Products. The additional capability of four color process (6 color) screenprinting further defines the tremendous capabilities and services Petra provides. In January 2005, Petra added a flexographic decal capability company, SecureMark Decal, that provides Petra with the ability to manufacture labels. Whether high security, holographic or sequentially numbered, Petra can assist you with your large run requirements.

Today, Petra Manufacturing operates in an 80,000 square foot facility centrally located in Chicago, Illinois - just west of downtown Chicago. Our location near major highways and airports allows us to handle national and international distribution efficiently and effectively.
